Echo, Sales Manager, Suspension Business Unit, China
I studied at Xi'an International Studies University, in Shanghai and have a bachelor’s degree in Japanese language and literature. Now I work as a Sales Manager at Hitachi Astemo and I am responsible for growing sales with car manufacturers in China for our global Suspension Business Unit. As part of such a big organization like Hitachi Astemo, it is necessary to meet high standards within a larger global business structure. This entails maintaining relationships with existing customers and outreach to potential new customers. I work closely with my team and colleagues from around the world on strategy alignment so that we can better serve the China region.

Before joining Hitachi, I worked for four companies, including a French, a Japanese and a China foreign cooperative joint venture. This diversity of ownership and nationalities has made me aware of the cultural differences among people, but also the fact that we when we work together respectfully we can achieve a company’s vision. At Hitachi Astemo, my goal is to build an open and inclusive sales team in the multicultural environment of Hitachi Astemo.
It is important to obtain news from a variety of channels and to look for industry trends including in mobility and advance technology. There is great value in carefully listening to customers in order to understand their needs. This insight helps me promote new products and technologies.
