The opening round of the SUPER GT series was held at Okayama International Circuit on April 10th and 11th. In the qualifiers, Astemo REAL RACING was unable to improve their time and finished in 9th place. In the final, the safety car was deployed twice, making for difficult conditions, but Baguette and Tsukakoshi drove tenaciously and took the checkered flag in 5th place, finishing the race as the highest ranked among the Honda cars. Baguette and Tsukakoshi will move on to the next round (May 3rd – 4th, Fuji Speedway).
