Watanabe scores second win this season, rises to the top in the series ranking

The MFJ All Japan Road Race Championship Round 5 was held at Suzuka Circuit, Mie Prefecture on July 17-18. In the ST1000 class, Watanabe took the checkered flag in the top spot after intense encounters with his rivals, earning his second win of the season. Sakumoto, who started in 5th place, managed to take the holeshot and briefly took the lead before having to retire after getting caught up in an accident. In the JSB1000 class, Kiyonari struggled to find the best setting for his machine, but despite this, managed to finish in 2nd place in Race 2.
