On July 17-18, the 2021 AUTOBACS SUPER GT Round4 MOTEGI GT 300km RACE was held at Twin Ring Motegi (Tochigi Prefecture).
Despite the extremely hot weather, roughly 300 Hitachi Astemo employees came to support the event. In this round, Astemo REAL RACING had the odds stacked against it, as both a weight handicap and fuel flow restrictor were imposed due to our victory in Round 2 at Fuji. The driver fought hard and managed to jump from 14th place to 9th place, but unfortunately, was forced to retire on the 49th lap due to machine trouble. However, as the number of laps raced had reached the limit, they were treated as having finished the race in 14th place.
