Hitachi Astemo is a sponsor of Kawasaki Racing Team, and supplies SHOWA front forks and rear cushions. Kawasaki Racing Team rider Jonathan Rea won Race 1 and finished 2nd in both the Superpole Race and Race 2. His teammate, Alex Lowes, retired from Race 1, but finished 5th in Race 2.
