On April 23-24, round 2 of the MFJ All Japan Road Race Championship Series was held at Suzuka Circuit in Mie Prefecture.
With two races being held only for JSB1000 class, #27 Kosuke Sakumoto rode for Astemo, who finished 8th amidst a tough battle for Race 1.
​​​​​​​Race 2 saw heavy rain conditions with the safety car being called out, but thanks to the perfect machine setup by Astemo team’s support members, Sakumoto improved from his 8th place starting position to finish at 6th.
