On August 27-28, round 6 of the All Japan Road Race Championship was held at Autopolis in Oita Prefecture.
In the two races of the ST1000 class, #1 Kazuma Watanabe took pole position in both Race 1 and Race 2. He rode dominantly from the start and took the checkered flag, winning both races for his second consecutive victory.
In the JSB1000 class, #27 Sakumoto got a good start and was part of the leading group, but an oil leak from another machine on the 14th lap forced the race to be red-flagged, and he finished in 4th place.
