3rd-place redemption finish for Mizuno, Burupa earns first points

Round 6 of the 2023 MFJ All Japan Road Race Championship was held at the Autopolis (Oita) on September 2-3.
In the JSB1000 class, #36 Ryo Mizuno finished at a disappointing 4th in Race 1, but redeemed his performance in Race 2 by winning a side-by-side battle for 3rd, finishing on the podium again after the previous round. #4 Kosuke Sakumoto started 8th in Race 1 and 11th in Race 2, steadily improving his position and catching up with the group fighting for 3rd, but finished 7th and 6th, respectively, to earn points.
#1 Kazuma Watanabe competing in ST1000 class had a problem with his machine and finished 4th in Race 1. In Race 2, he took the lead on Lap 5 and was setting his best lap time, but crashed on Lap 12 in a high-speed corner and had to retire.
In the ST600 class, #31 Burupa started 19th and steadily overtook one machine after another, passing one on the last lap to take the checkered flag in 11th place, earning him his first points since entering the All Japan Road Race.
