Tokyo, August 10, 2017 --- Hitachi Automotive Systems, Ltd. today announced that its Aftermarket Division and Hitachi Automotive Systems Espelkamp GmbH, a group company that engages in the manufacture and sale of automotive repair parts primarily for the European market, will display the Hitachi Automotive Systems Group’s wide range of aftermarket products at MIMS Automechanika Moscow 2017 (MIMS 2017). MIMS 2017 will be held from August 21 to August 24 at the Expo Center in Moscow, Russia.
The Hitachi Automotive Systems Group is working to enhance its aftermarket business utilizing technology fostered through the development of automotive devices over many years, while globally deploying products such as power steering pumps, shock absorbers and brake pads, in response to regional demands.
In Russia, government support programs such as a system for subsidizing automobile loan interest are predicted to result in the recovery of demand for new vehicles. In addition, as further growth of automobile demand is expected, including greater demand for used vehicles, there are expectations that aftermarket product demand will likewise expand. The Hitachi Automotive Systems Group will continue to cultivate potential customers and promote sales expansion to further enhance its aftermarket business base in Russia. In order to promote its business and improve its recognition and presence in the aftermarket field, Hitachi Automotive Systems will oversee a booth at MIMS2017, an international aftermarket product trade fair held in Moscow. Over 1000 companies from 40 countries are expected to attend the event. This booth aims to improve recognition of product brands developed by the Hitachi Automotive Systems Group in the aftermarket automotive parts market in Russia.
At this exhibition, Hitachi Automotive Systems and Hitachi Automotive Systems Espelkamp will oversee booth number F643 and display the wide lineup of aftermarket products offered by the Hitachi Automotive Systems Group.
