Hitachi Automotive Systems Renews Silver Sponsorship of SAE
International’s WCX to Focus on Future Mobility and Recruiting

Detroit, Michigan, April 4, 2018 — Hitachi Automotive Systems Americas, Inc. has announced its Silver Sponsorship of the WCX: SAE World Congress Experience to be held at Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan, April 10-12.

Hitachi Automotive Systems is focusing its technological strength and rich expertise on automotive-related systems and technologies to deliver a broad range of safer, smarter and more sustainable mobility solutions. WCX is at the forefront of mobility’s exciting future with technical sessions, expert-led presentations and innovative exhibits. The event is an ideal venue to highlight Hitachi’s advanced technologies.

During the WCX, the company will feature the Hitachi Group’s Social Innovation Business and advanced mobility technologies, including one of its demonstration vehicles, at booth number 7021 in Hall C near The Exchange. "Hitachi Automotive Systems' long history in propulsion and chassis systems along with Hitachi Ltd.'s information and connected technologies has us perfectly positioned for the future mobility industry,” said John Nunneley, senior vice president of engineering “At the WCX we will show our strength in Electrification and Autonomous Driving technologies, including sensors and control systems.”

Hitachi Automotive Systems Americas will host a second booth, number CC1, within Career Central. As a returning sponsor of the WCX recruiting hub, team members from its Farmington Hills sales and design center will be on site to connect with job seekers. "We are proud to continue our sponsorship of Career Central,” said Human Resources Director Rick Currie. “Our recruiting team is looking forward to meeting some great candidates who can help Hitachi develop future technologies."
